Global FinTech Summit By Dubai International Financial Centre
The latest news says, His Highness Sheikh Maktoum bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, the President of DIFC, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Finance of the UAE and the ruler of Dubai, has recently declared the launch of the Dubai FinTech Summit.
It is a worldwide event that will bring more than 5000 specialists, thought leaders, policymakers and decision-makers in Dubai to a single platform to find new ways of achieving innovation, enterprise and development for the global financial industry.

The event will be organised by the Dubai International Financial Centre (DIFC) to be held on 8th & 9th May 2023 in Dubai. The world’s renowned personalities in their respective industries will participate in the event to convey keynote presentations, exchange their views on the industry complexities, and figure out possibilities to leverage the contribution of FinTech for people, businesses and economies.
DIFC is home to the locale’s largest provider of FinTech and Innovation and one of the most brilliant development spots in the international FinTech market, valued at over $135.9 billion in 2021. The worldwide market is supposed to develop at a CAGR of 11.9% between 2022-2027 to arrive at a worth of more than $266.9 billion by 2027.1
According to His Excellency Essa Kazim, Governor of DIFC, “The Dubai FinTech Summit will be a global event which will entertain ideas, knowledge, strategies and viewpoints to help find out new possibilities of immense development for the international finance sector and FinTechs in the worldwide economy. DIFC will use this platform opportunity offered by the Summit to gather banks, FinTechs and regulators worldwide further to improve the digital advancement of the financial sector.”
He added, “Presently, we have more than 600 FinTechs and development firms in DIFC who are revolutionising the industry and strengthening the country's economic growth. The 23% expansion, which the DIFC's FinTech community noticed at the beginning of the year, is evidence of the dynamic development-friendly platform we offer financial firms worldwide.”
The Summit’s programme will have thorough discussions across crucial tracks, including the future of FinTechs, embedded & open finance, feasibility, Web 3.0 and digital assets. The Summit will also provide an open door for over 100 FinTechs and future finance players to share their most recent innovations and advancements.
