Commercial Bank Is Honoured With 'Best Bank In Qatar 2021' Award By Global Finance
On March 30, 2021, Global Finance’s editorial board has chosen Commercial Bank for the “Best Bank in Qatar 2021” award for the second time in four years.
The aforesaid selection was conducted based on considerable discussion with bankers, experts, and industry says Commercial Bank on Monday.
In earlier years, winning institutions were credited in an awarding event organized during the World Bank/IMF Annual Meetings. Additionally, a few days back, Global Finance also named Arab Bank the “Best Trade Finance Provider 2021 in the Middle East.” in the BAFT and IFSA global annual meeting in London.
This year, the banks achieved excellent evolution in the 28-year history of Global Finance, given the unparalleled economic conditions driven by the global pandemic.

The selection procedure of choosing the winners by the editors of Global Finance was made by performing a detailed & thorough discussion with corporate finance executives, bankers and banking experts, and analysts across the world. To execute the task of selecting these top banks, various factors have been considered by Global Finance ranging from the measurable goals to the informed subjective. The measurable/objective criteria included - development in assets, profitability, geographic reach, key connections, new business growth, and innovation in various products. While on the other hand, the subjective criteria included the judgment of equity analysts, credit rating analysts, banking experts, and others engaged in the industry.
If the worldwide conditions are favorable, Global Finance is likely to host this event one more time, and the winners will be informed about the date and location in advance.
